Beyond my wildest dreams

On Thursday, June 4th, I had an operation performed by Dr. Iprenburg in Veenhuizen. Now, five days post-surgery, I have no problem walking and moving.

After three years of pain, various annoying pain treatments, two previous operations, swallowing pills and trying different therapies, I could finally hear and see! Not being able to hear and being condemned to a life of pain had made me feel hopeless. There I was, telling myself “my body is very angry, but it’s nothing to worry about”. Not being able to understand my own surroundings, not wanting to overreact, and the lasting pain made me bedridden for months.

And now? I can walk without pain! I had been walking with a hunched back because of the pain for so long that I had to remind myself constantly that I don’t need to do that anymore. A miracle! Here at home, I can gently laugh again! Being treated in this clinic, by this skilled physician and his team, felt like having a warm shower. They’re all such friendly people who care for their patient.

We are all incredibly grateful to you for this great result! This is beyond my wildest dreams!
